About us

CoLoop was founded by Jack Bowen and Adrien Wald who met while both were studying at the University of Oxford.

Through their first project, Genei, Jack and Adrien discovered that the biggest issue with AI comes down to reliability and honesty. So, they built and trained their own LLMs and deployed NLP pipelines. Together, they share a combined 12 years experience of full stack engineering, product and insight into how to keep humans at the centre of AI-powered platforms. Jack and Adrien set out to give qualitative researchers an AI analysis platform they can actually trust, and along came CoLoop in 2023.

Today more than 400 research teams use CoLoop to record, analyse and deliver insights across interviews, focus groups, surveys and communities, in 100+ languages: humans in the loop, evidence behind every output.
